Senior Digital Designer/Stradegist | 12/2014– 06/2025
Integrated the digital and design strategy and implementation of Brigham’s digital communications, leading initiatives that advanced fundraising, donor engagement, and institutional storytelling.
Created fundraising architecture for collateral systems, websites, event signage, print materials, and donor videos. Storyboarded campaigns for marquee programs—including the Boston Marathon, Access Brigham Health, the Ann Romney Center #50MillionFaces, the Women’s Health Luncheon, and the BWH Golf Program—extending design into environmental and donor experiences.
Built Blackbaud TeamRaiser race sites integrated with Blackbaud CRM for our 5K/10K/Marathon program. I designed the front-end system (style guide, components, templates) and configured the backend (registration/donation forms, payment gateway, acknowledgments, UTM attribution, CRM syncs). I also established governance, QA, and analytics so we could replicate launches quickly with consistent branding and clean data.
Migrated multiple websites with a focus on accessibility (WCAG standards) and responsive design, ensuring improved performance and user experience.
Implemented “the Brigham” magazine design for the new web adaptation of Brigham Health Magazine, including custom widget coding to expand interactivity and engagement.
2024, we achieved 58.5% open rate and 4.5% CTR—a nearly 7x increase in CTR since 2019—with a sustained 99.6% delivery rate across 1M+ sends and a low 0.3% unsubscribe rate. Our CTOR also rose to 7.7%, signaling that not only were more people opening emails, but those who opened were far more likely to act.
Contributed to the largest and most successful fundraising campaign in Brigham’s history, “Life. Giving. Breakthroughs,” raising $1.75 billion over 10 years.
